This is a lot harder than I thought it would be. It was fun to go to the Young Women's Conference with Mom and Megan. I asked my mom what she thought my favorite memory was and she said that if I could remember it, it would be in San Diego. I LOVED the ocean. I do remember the San Diego trip so here are a few pictures and explanations.

And this is how I felt about the whole experience.
In my mom's scrapbooks she has this picture of Emily and it says: Emily- usually such a brave baby- was quite unsure of the cold water that seemed to want to carry her away...
This is the part I actually remember of that trip. I remember Jon and Val taking me and jumping me over the waves. When I asked my mom about it she said we were lucky Jon and Val were there or else I would have washed away!I still love the ocean and any running water. I feel confident saying this is my favorite memory.

It was a good trip with many good memories for me. I wish you could remember exactly how amazed and excited you were by "actually touching the ocean," because you were intensely happy.
