Today we went to Tijuana, MEXICO!!
We were the only people, other than the natives there, so everyone was calling to us.  Soren bought a Poncho and Megan bought a bag.  Ethan enjoyed looking at the statues of the Aztec (Maybe Mayan) gods.  We spent more time in line to get back to the US than actually in Mexico.  They also took away our chocolate eggs with toys inside because in the US they are a choking hazard.  Boo.  But hey, I got bragging rights.  I have officially been out of the country.

After returning, we returned home to change into swimsuits and headed for La Jolla Shores.
*Sigh* The beach.  Who doesn't love it?

These Pictures are of Dad when he used to outgoing wave to sink into the sand.  I tried but gave up after a little while.  I'd rather hit some waves!

BOOGIE BOARDING!!
Megan tried some of the little waves.

Dad showed us all up with his Boogie Boarding.

Even Mom tried the boogie board!
I of course was pro at riding the waves.  Well, fine if I wasn't a pro, I at least loved every minute of my rookie career!

Of Course who needs a boogie board to have fun?  We did just fine without!  Sand castles, buried people and simply being at the beach made a perfect end to the day!

Though a little blurry, I love Ethan's expression and position in this picture.  He didn't actually like the ocean very much.  He liked to play, but got cold fast and hated seaweed.

After, we went home, chilled in the hot tub or pool and went home.  There we changed, showered, and got ready to go to dinner at Red Robin!  There Mom got her scrapbook ideas from the kids menu.  There was a game where you are "Going on spring break and you took...A____."  You keep going through the alphabet, repeating everyone else's luggage before you. In the car on the way home we did it about San Diego.  I went to San Diego and saw/smelled/tasted/heard/touched A_____.  It is a cute Idea.  We came home and watched Disney Channel for a while before finally heading to bed.

Okay- this post it's pretty obvious the beach makes you happy.

If you care- I think Ethan loved the beach. He did get cold fast. He did get pulled under each day. He did hate the seaweed. But I think he had a great time and I feel bad that he was done by the time I got in each day because if someone had played with him, he would have loved it more. Not as much as you, but I don't know if that is possible!

Oh yeah- and Tijuana was yuck. I hope it was worth it for bragging rights.
