On Wednesdays we go to Dover

Today Jacque and I went to the White Cliffs of Dover.

So, we had a 9:30 coach, which we missed due to tube delays, which I thought we had factored into our schedule, but apparently not enough time. So we had an hour and a half to kill before our 11:00 reschedule. We (obviously) spent it in a library, because why not?

We also hit up a Sainsbury's and got jelly donuts! I was supposed to be productive on the 3 hour coach, but that did not happen. Instead we just chatted our hearts out.

Then we arrived in Dover Town Center. We weren't really sure where to go, so we just kind of wandered and stumbled on the seashore! :) Basically the cold weather and rain were not a strong enough deterrent for me getting in.

Then we went back to the bus stop but there wasn't a bus for a while, so we opted to walk up to the cliffs. It was pretty steep at parts, and crazy windy and pretty cold and the cliff edges scare me, but it was BEAUTIFUL. We hiked for 3 hours, to the community at the top of the cliffs where we caught a bus back down to Dover. We ate at KFC and caught our coach back to London. Not much happened, but it was a great day full of great random conversations and funny moments.
