Monday the 9th of May AND Tuesday the Tenth of May

Today we had class with Cecelia then headed to the British Museum (on our own) to walk through the greek exhibits again. It has been really fun to be able to connect what we are learning to real examples of their lives. I guess that IS the whole point of the study abroad. Anyway, I would have liked to spend longer there, but I ended up with a bunch of people eager to get out of there and to various places, so I ended up not spending as much time there as I would have liked. It's fine though, I'm sure I'll be back.

I ended up walking with Annie and Kyle through Sloane Square which is (yet another) high end shopping area. I just love shopping -.-  Not. But I do love London, so I don't mind terribly much.

We went to Westminster for Evensong for FHE tonight, which was cool, but I like St. Pauls a lot better. Kyle and Annie couldn't stop geeking out about the fact that the Royal Wedding had been there, and they were walking in the same place. Silly friends. Anyway, I wasn't allowed to take pictures inside, so no pictures.

Then we took the tube as close to home as we could, but the line was partially down so we walked across Hyde park, and ended up stopping in the Hyde Park Visitors Center for a while, and one of the boys in our group found someone he knew from Poland serving a mission there. Random small world that we live in. Anyway we walked home across the park in the POURING rain - which I would have enjoyed except I had my backpack with laptop :/

Then we spent the evening doing homework and hanging out.

TUESDAY
Me and Annie went running in the rain this morning and I wasn't happy because I was running but I was less angry because it was pretty. Then breakfast where we found out that we had class at ONE instead of our usual 9. Why, I don't know. But were supposed to have class with Martha and head for the Tate museum. Instead our professors talked long (as they tend to do) about prep for Paris and in class, so we ended up NOT going to the Tate modern and we stayed home and packed because we leave for Paris at 4am on the dot tomorrow, so not much to talk about today. Just enjoying the rainy weather :)

This is said with love and gratitude that Annie has been your friend- can you make more friends with anyone who doesn't like shopping so much?! Just don't want you to miss opportunities YOU want to have. Jealous of the parks you get to run thru!
