Saturday the 14th (last day in Paris) and Sunday

For our last day we met outside at 9:30 and Martha gave us our instructions for our assignments that day. Then we went and dropped our stuff off at the train station lockers again, before heading to the Pompidou where we were tasked to write about a cubist and an expressionist painting. I've never been a fan of the more modern art, but it is a lot more interesting when you know a little bit about it. Also, the building had a great view :)

Then me, Annie, and Kyle went and got crepes and went down to see the Statue de la liberte, which is the mini-replica of the one they gave to America. We just kind of enjoyed the view of the tower and the bench by the river until we had to head back to the train station to go home.

The train got moved up, so we were literally running to make it on the train, but everyone did (barely) and we got home safely. Unfortunately my clothes did not make it into the washer right away which means there will be a four day wait period before they do, so it'll be an adventure these next couple days. :)

Sunday morning we left a little bit late and were a little bit late to church but we all got there and we got to take the sacrament so 2 thumbs up. We also made it home in one piece so make that 4 thumbs up. Then standard sunday afternoon nap, dinner, a couple of us watched some doctor who and I skyped my family. All in all a good day.

Also I had jelly babies for the first time: they were delicious.

And now I am all caught up, and will hopefully stay that way :)
