Saturday is a Special Day (I'm very sick of writing titles)

Today was Saturday so there wasn't any breakfast which meant I got to sleep in until 9, when I got up to get ready for our 9:30 leave time for the Victoria and Albert museum. We spent 2 hours going chronologically through the exhibits, which meant a lot of back and forth. It is interesting to see how all art really ties together!

My one Bernini sighting this trip

You can't really tell here, but this dress is TINY, but it was for a grown woman!

We saw another bronze cast of Rodin's Prodigal Son and Martha told us about the big controversy in the 90s when the Rodin exhibit came to BYU.  It's interesting to look at the objectiveness of viewing art, and what happens when people aren't objective.
After enjoying the V&A we went to Portebello Road Market (this time while it was open) and wowza it was busy! It was a lot of fun though, and I bought a ring! (I love it a lot).

Then we came home and ate lunch and I did some laundry while we played phase 10 (and I lost miserably). After finding out it was Strawberries and Cream day we made an impromtu trip to TESCO and bought strawberries whip cream and ice cream, and CELEBRATED. Annie nearly started a food fight, but since she was the only one with ammo, she just kind of pelted the rest of us with whipped cream. I got the worst of it.

Then we watched 2 Weeks Notice AND Parent Trap while "working" on our homework and lessons for tomorrow. Another great night in London.

(Also I felt a lot better today, so I'm guessing that the food I ate just didn't agree with me yesterday)

Was the whipped cream in London like our whipped cream? Dad was so happy you posted a Bernini. Portabello Road looks like an adventure!
